By the year 2030 we are living in a more vibrant and functional expression of an eco-civilization spread across a network of interdependent regenerative initiatives a number of courageous individuals have responded to the call for the more beautiful world that we knew was possible and have formed federations of eco-communities and initiatives devoted to regeneration their focus on integral care and their holistic approach includes all four integral quadrants interior exterior individual and collective hubs the nodes of this interdependent network are the thriving centers of this new holistically regenerative civilization off-grid quickly became the new grid and back to nature became forward to nature in this vibrant future biomimicry and technological tools are combined to meet everyone's needs so that people can enjoy freedom and adopt intrinsic motivation as their main driving force people had more time to focus on their regenerative individual and collective ikigai to lift up their mental and physical health and have been manifesting more of their full potential as humans this gave them more time and energy to consistently invest in building collaborative relationships and trust and to increase their ability to implement agent-centric governance practices people have learned to appreciate different characters and value systems and to engage constructively with others they have formed diverse teams of people inhabiting different roles and expressing a diversity of qualities intergenerational collaboration became an essential core practice in the network we remembered how to value elders and to integrate their wisdom in our learning and evolution each hub has defined their own unique expression by self-selecting its DNA from the gene pool of values tools and practices within the network many hubs adopted a replication dna and have actively supported the development of new nodes in their area pollinators have traveled across these hubs spreading knowledge expertise and information throughout the network accelerating the network succession and evolution pro-social and pro-planet economic systems have taken root around these regenerative initiatives steadily replacing the outdated and obsolete monetary system the purchasing power of money has decreased and the real value exchanged across the network has increased in particular the regenerative certification and business model for products drew value from the old system and has been feeding and empowering the regenerative circular whole systems economy with this future in mind in 2018 we founded limino village an ecotech hub in the center of italy together with regenerative initiatives in the area and others from around the globe liminal village aims to be the ripple that helps co-creating the much needed tidal wave of change liminal village provides something unique a balanced combination of technology and nature an ecotone between game a and game b where people can design and experience a taste of what an integral regenerative way of living can look and feel like together with 24 other families we craft funded to form a new hub to meet a common need an alternative way to raise our children together in addition to a transgenerational learning center for both the children and the parents this hub is becoming the main center for the exchange of goods and services amongst its members by the end of the year 2021 the regenerative network purchased a quarry and brick factory complex from the early 1900s which has more than 6 000 cubic meters of building permission the land and property will be tokenized on the blockchain giving the opportunity for many to invest in this regenerative endeavor the funds will be used to purchase the machinery required to build an ecotec village on site and will be shared to create other hubs in the network. Everywhere where land can be leased for a generation the closest hubs in the regenerative network will help manifest all life supporting systems starting with 3d printed clay houses water collection and purification systems and open source food machines webtree technologies will enable the local hubs to interconnect as interdependent holonic clusters and to track value needs contributions and access to resources across the network these technologies allow for a direct authentic and immutable voice in the economics and governance of the network to take part in the tide of change and to shift the course of civilization towards systemic regeneration we will need to provide scalable and sustainable models for distributed regenerative communities we are heeding the call of our times and engaging in holistic collaboration to regenerate the planet including ourselves and our human systems we are on the path and invite others to join us in bringing this regenerative dream to life
